Set Up Gmail account in Outlook 2003 |
1 - Start Outlook 2003
2 - Click on Tools / E-mail Accounts...
3 - Select Add a new e-mail account and press Next.
4 - Select POP3 and press Next.
5 - Type your Name, eMail address, Incoming Mail Server (pop.gmail.com), Outgoing Mail Server (smtp.gmail.com), user name and password. Press More Settings...
6 - Click on Outgoing Server tab.
7 - Mark My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication option. Click on Advanced tab.
8 - Mark both options This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) and type incoming server (POP3) port 995 and outgoing server (SMTP) port 465. Press Ok.
9 - Press Next.
10 - Press Finish.
